# About — Gifts for Couples

Most gift sites treat “gifts for couples” as a filter on a product feed. It is not a filter, it is a harder problem: two sets of taste, one budget, one home with finite space, and an occasion where the gift usually gets opened in front of an audience.

Every guide here answers two questions before it recommends anything — would both of them touch it in the first week, and where would it live? A gift only one half of the couple would use is a gift for that person. That is fine. It is just worth knowing which one you are giving.

Everything on this site is a buying guide. We explain the occasion, the realistic budget and the constraints, and we say plainly when a pick is an experience so you know nothing arrives in a box. We do not test products in anyone’s home, and you will not find an invented price, rating or review count here.
